Grand Valley is home
Grand Valley has been home to my family since 2016. My children attend school here, and over the years I’ve come to know our town through family life, volunteering, and service.
I’m an active member of the Lions Club and have served on Grand Valley’s Economic Development Committee. For the past two years, I’ve also helped teach technology to local seniors through annual sessions at the library.
I’ve promoted opportunities such as the My Main Street grant program to local business groups and helped a couple of businesses with their applications.
Professionally, I bring more than 20 years of experience in business and technology, including leadership roles with large organizations. That work taught me how to listen, bring people together, communicate clearly, and keep complicated projects moving.
I’m running for Deputy Mayor because I believe Grand Valley is ready for thoughtful change grounded in service, practical collaboration, and a clear understanding of what residents value about our community.
The role
Why Deputy Mayor?
The Deputy Mayor helps connect residents, Council, staff, community organizations, businesses, and other levels of government. It is a role that calls for listening, coordination, and steady follow-through.
That is the kind of work I have done throughout my career and community service. It is the kind of contribution I want to make for Grand Valley.
